A book I have checked out is lost/damaged, what is the charge?

Answer

The library system automatically adds a default charge of $50 to your account. Once the material is confirmed lost/damaged, the actual replacement charge will be determined by our acquisitions staff and added to your account. Providing a replacement copy of the book may be an option. Please check with library staff before purchasing a replacement copy, so we can work together to determine the best solution.
