How do I find a book in Miner Library?

You can search for items in the Miner Library (and other UR Libraries) collections by using DiscoverUR, the library online catalog. Once you have found the item in the catalog, you will use the call number and location to find the material in the library. Miner Library locations include:
- Miner Library Books Upper Level Stacks - located in stacks
- Miner Library Journals - shelved alphabetically, located in the lower stacks (generally Answer Desk staff will retrieve these items for you.)
- Miner Library Answer Desk - located across from the Answer Desk
- Miner Library History of Medicine Reading Room - located in the History of Medicine Reading Room
- Miner Library Rare Books & Archives - Ask at History Office - contact the Rare Books & Manuscripts Librarian, Meredith Gozo.
- Miner Library Graphic Medicine - located near Answer Desk
- Miner Library Open Reserve - located near Answer Desk
- Miner Library Closed Reserve - Ask at Answer Desk
