New York Times

As of August 2023, The University of Rochester does have an instititutional online subscription to the New York Times.  

Subscription provides full access to current and archival news content. 

Does not Include access to NYT Cooking, Games, The Athletic or the Wirecutter.

To redeem your own personal account, go to https://nytimesineducation.com/access-nyt/ and enter University of Rochester, then follow the directions on the next page, which vary depending on whether you are on campus/VPN or off campus. Be sure to use your Rochester.edu email address* when setting up your account.

 *If you already have a NYTimes.com account with a different email address, you can either create a new account or change your email address in your existing account settings to avoid creating a new account. If you are already a paid New York Times subscriber, you will need to cancel before linking to the institution account – see instructions under “Tips and Troubleshooting” on the signup page.
