What is the RRLC Access Pass? Does Miner Library participate in the program?
Answer
From the Rochester Regional Library Council web page:
The RRLC Access pass program is meant to provide serious library users with access to resources not available either in the library with which they are primarily affiliated or in other libraries open to the public.
The Access Pass is particularly helpful to users who need something from another collection immediately, who need to browse through a specialized collection, who lack sufficient bibliographic information for effective interlibrary loan, or who need to use resources which cannot be borrowed or photocopied.
RRLC Access Passes for University or Rochester students (including School of Medicine & Dentistry and School of Nursing students) are issued by Rush Rhees Library on River Campus. Just stop by the Q&i Desk!
Patrons from other institutions are welcome to use Miner's resources onsite. An appointment is needed for using items in the History of Medicine collection.
Patrons may also submit an interlibrary loan request through their home institution.
